Jury ruling

The jury for the Rei Jaume I Prize for Urban Planning, Landscape and Sustainability, meeting in Alicante, has unanimously decided to award the 2006 prize to Mr Antonio Lamela Martínez.

This decision was based on the alignment of his professional profile with the objectives of the competition, the excellence in the interplay between the three fields covered by the prize, the balance he strikes between research and practice, and the social impact of his work.
