Jury ruling

The jury for the Rey Jaime I Prize for Environmental Protection, meeting in Alicante, has unanimously decided to award the 1997 prize to Mr José Mª Baldasano Recio.

This is in recognition of his research and development work on waste treatment systems for various types of waste, particularly liquid waste, as well as the international impact of his publications and the practical implementation of his scientific and technical initiatives in this field.
