Jury ruling

The jury for the Rei Jaume I Economics Prize, meeting in Valencia, has unanimously decided to award the 1992 prize to Mr Vicente Salas Fumas.

For his application of economic analysis to various areas of business. In this regard, particular mention should be made of his work on industrial and organisational economics, his studies on the processes of adopting technological innovations, the measurement of productivity in various productive sectors, as well as his research into the importance of tax incentives for private investment.
