Jury ruling

The jury for the Rei Jaume I Economics Prize, meeting in Valencia, has unanimously decided to award the 2004 prize to Mr Jordi Galí Garreta.

For his contributions to macroeconomics, particularly the analysis of monetary policy in industrialised economies, the identification and effects of technological shocks, and the estimation of fiscal policy rules for eurozone countries.
