The juries of the Rei Jaume I Prizes have chosen the winners of the seven categories into which the awards are divided. The Rei Jaume I Prizes have been announced in a formal event at the “Palau de la Generalitat” chaired by the head of the Consell, Carlos Mazón and which was attended by the executive president, Javier Quesada, as well as the president of the Prizes Foundation Rei Jaume I, Vicente Boluda.

The event at the Palau de la Generalitat was attended by the trustees of the Fundación Valenciana Premios Rei Jaume I, the juries of the seven awards, as well as representatives of the collaborators:

la Fundación Iberdrola España en Protección del Medio Ambiente,el Ayuntamiento de València en Nuevas Tecnologías, la Diputación de València como colaborador en Economía, AirLiquide Healthcare como colaborador en Investigación Clínica y Salud Pública, CaixaBank en Investigación Biomédica, Mercadona, Edem y AVE en el premio al Emprendedor. Además, los Premios cuentan con el apoyo de entidades como Autoridad Portuaria de Valencia, Boluda Corporación Marítima, Consejo de Cámaras de la Comunidad Valenciana, Fundación Banco Santander, Pavasal, RNB, SPB, Grupo Vectalia, CEV, Logifruit, Fundación Torrecid, BP, Grupo Segura, Empresas del Sol, Grupo Ribera, la Diputación de Alicante, Familia Martínez y la Fundación IVO, así como del respaldo institucional de la Generalitat Valenciana.
