The juries of the Rei Jaume I Prizes have selected the winners in the seven categories. They were announced at a formal ceremony in the Palau de la Generalitat, presided over by the President of the Generalitat, Juanfran Pérez Llorca, and attended by the Executive President, Javier Quesada, and the President of the Rei Jaume I Prizes Foundation, Vicente Boluda.

Mr. Boluda emphasized that “the convergence of science, research, technology, and business is where the progress of our society and the future of the next generations lie,” stressing the need to continue promoting talent, innovation, and entrepreneurship as drivers of economic development and social well-being.

The event at the Palau de la Generalitat was attended by the trustees of the Valencian Rei Jaume I Prizes Foundation, the juries of the seven awards, and representatives of the collaborators: the Iberdrola Spain Foundation for Environmental Protection, the Valencia City Council for New Technologies, the Valencia Provincial Council for Economy, Air Liquide Healthcare for Clinical Research and Public Health, CaixaBank and the La Caixa Foundation for Biomedical Research, and Mercadona, Edem, and AVE for the Business Revelation Award.

In addition, the Awards have the support of entities such as the Port Authority of Valencia, Boluda Maritime Corporation, the Council of Chambers of Commerce of the Valencian Community, the Banco Santander Foundation, Pavasal, RNB, SPB, Grupo Vectalia, CEV, the Torrecid Foundation, BP, Grupo Segura, the Alicante Provincial Council, the Martínez Family, and the IVO Foundation, as well as the institutional backing of the Valencian Government.
