Jury ruling

The jury for the Rei Jaume I Prizes for Basic Research, meeting in Valencia, has unanimously decided to award the 2010 prize to Mr Ernesto Carmona Guzmán.

For his contributions to organometallic chemistry, and in particular with regard to the activation of carbon dioxide, hydrocarbons and other molecules of environmental interest.
