Jury ruling

The jury for the Rey Jaime I Prize for Basic Research, meeting in Alicante, has unanimously decided to award the 2006 prize to Mr Fernando Reinoso Suárez.

In recognition of a life dedicated to the development of neuroscience in Spain, having started out under very difficult conditions and having taught many generations of Spanish scientists.
