Jury rulingThe jury for the Rei Jaume I Prizes for Environmental Protection, meeting in Castellón, has unanimously decided to award the 2005 prize to Mr Joan Grimalt Obrador.
This is in recognition of his contributions focusing on the study of natural and anthropogenic organic compounds as indicators of the health of organisms, ecosystems and climate change. These studies include the development of new analytical techniques and have had a significant impact on society and industry.
