Jury ruling

The jury for the Rei Jaume I Prizes for Basic Research, meeting in Valencia, has unanimously decided to award the 2011 prize to Mr Óscar Marín Parra.

For his contributions to the study of the development of the cerebral cortex, particularly with regard to the molecules and mechanisms involved in neuronal migration and the formation of neural circuits.
