Jury rulingThe jury for the Rei Jaume I Prize for Environmental Protection, meeting in Valencia, has unanimously decided to award the 2013 prize to Mr Xavier Querol Carceller.
This is in recognition of his scientific contribution to improving air quality and reducing the impact of pollution on the population. His research has focused on the study of atmospheric particles, with the aim of understanding, from a scientific perspective, their impact on urban and regional air quality.
