On 27 December, the Foundation received one of the Pare Antoni 2025 Prizes, presented by the Ateneo Musical y de Enseñanza Banda Primitiva de Llíria. The prize was accepted by the president, Vicente Boluda, whose presence demonstrated the organisation’s commitment to scientific excellence and social progress.

During the ceremony, Boluda expressed his gratitude for the award on behalf of the Foundation and highlighted the work the organisation carries out to promote research, innovation and entrepreneurship in the Comunitat Valenciana. In his speech, he emphasised the importance of building bridges between science, society and the business community – a vision he has reinforced during his presidency.

Alongside the Fundación Premios Rei Jaume I, the following were also honoured: the singer Rosana Arbelo, the Edetan musician Miguel Civera, a requinto soloist with the RTVE Orchestra, and Gerardo Ferrando, former president of the Banda Primitiva, who was honoured posthumously for his dedication to the organisation. 

The event, held during the Christmas concert at the headquarters of the historic musical society, brought together representatives from Llíria’s cultural and social spheres, who highlighted the award-winners’ careers and the Banda Primitiva’s commitment to promoting talent and culture.
