Verónica Pascual Boé
Entrepreneur 2020(Barcelona, aged 41) She holds a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, an MBA from the CDI in Paris and an Executive Master’s in Positive Psychology Applied to Leadership from IS Business School. She is the Chief Executive Officer of ASTI Mobile Robotics.
She speaks five languages, is learning a sixth and has lived in six countries. She is also Chief Executive Officer of ASTI TechGroup, a role in which she leads the group’s business strategy; the group comprises a number of technology companies and a foundation dedicated to developing digital talent from an early age.
ASTI Mobile Robotics is an engineering firm specialising in the study, design, manufacture, commissioning and maintenance of internal logistics solutions—that is, the movement of materials and products within industrial facilities—using automated guided vehicles. ASTI Mobile Robotics’ mission is to help its clients become more competitive and flexible, and to reduce their time to market by automating their industrial processes. The company’s strategic vision is to be a global leader in the provision of mobile robotics-based solutions for the automation of industrial processes.
The jury for the Rei Jaume I Entrepreneur Prize, meeting in Valencia, has unanimously decided to award the 2020 prize to Ms Verónica Pascual Boé.
She has been recognised for her outstanding professional background, for the achievements of her company in the innovative and cutting-edge field of robotics, and for the growth she has brought to her family business during her time at the helm. Verónica has ensured the continuity of her company through an innovative drive, whilst also prioritising corporate social responsibility. Her company has also established a foundation to promote the talents of young people with an interest in science and technology within the field of robotics.
ASTI was founded in 1982 and, when Verónica took over the management of the company, it experienced exponential growth, becoming the sector leader within four years.
