On 28 November, the traditional Rei Jaume I Prizes Awards Ceremony will be held at the Lonja de los Mercaderes in Valencia.

The awards ceremony is one of the most significant social events in the Comunitat Valenciana and is held in the city in the presence of a broad cross-section of Valencian civil and political society.  This ceremony will form part of an extensive programme of events in which the prize-winners will take part to help revitalise these awards, which are unique in Spain due, amongst other distinctive features, to their juries comprising more than twenty Nobel Laureates.
